Prince Madrais Alibasa Manuscript No. 17B

The manuscript No.17B is written in a set of loose folios. The size is 34 x 21.5 cm. The condition of paper is brittle, perforated, taped and yellowing. The ink penetrates to the reverse side. The writing is faded but still readable. In this manuscript, Prince Madrais writes Gebang history and his duties as the successor of Gebang descendant. In addtion, he describes a condition when many rejections to the religion of Java Sunda, cultural customs and java script occured in many places because many people claimed that Java religion is the enemy of God. He also explains his teachings about religion of java, the meaning of nation life, religion for life balance, alertness of the evil forces that can make humans forget their true identity as human and nation, prohibition of war among nations because all nations are equals, the importance of natural world of Java for glory of java, etc.
