La carta, fechada el 19 de abril de 1920 y enviada por el Ministerio de Gobierno y Policía, está dirigida al presidente de la Federación de Estudiantes del Perú. En ella, G. Leguía acusa recibo del oficio N° 62 de la federación, fechado el 13 de abril, y comunica que se ha dispuesto el envío de 15 gendarmes montados y 20 a pie al campo deportivo de Santa Beatriz. Esta medida se tomará para mantener el orden durante las festividades realizadas en dicho campo los domingos y días feriados.
