This letter, dated March 5, 1920 and sent by Porras to the president of the Student Federation of Peru, Victor Raul Haya de la Torre, responds to a note of the same day in which the steering committee of the federation expressed its support. Porras is grateful for the recognition and the expression of faith and sympathy towards his performance in international affairs, especially in relation to the chancellery of La Paz. Esta carta, fechada el 5 de marzo de 1920 y enviada por Porras al presidente de la Federación de Estudiantes del Perú, Víctor Raúl Haya de la Torre, responde a una nota del mismo día en la que el comité directivo de la federación expresaba su apoyo. Porras agradece el reconocimiento y la expresión de fe y simpatía hacia su actuación en asuntos internacionales, especialmente en relación con la cancillería de La Paz. En la carta, el remitente solicita que se transmita su agradecimiento al comité y reitera su aprecio hacia los miembros de la federación.
