This letter, sent on February 6, 1920 from Trujillo by active vice-president Alvaro on behalf of the University Center of La Libertad, is addressed to the secretaries of the Student Federation of Peru in Lima. Alvaro acknowledges receipt of an official letter from the federation, informing that in the session of the board of directors it was agreed to call assemblies for the faculties of Philosophy & Arts and Jurisprudence on the 6th and 7th, respectively, the results of which will be reported at a later date. It also notifies the receipt of 20 copies of the regulations for the next National Student Congress, which have been distributed among the students. The letter also mentions that the active president, Andrés Dileo Herrera, has been granted a 15-day leave of absence, leaving Álvaro as interim head of the center.
Esta carta, enviada el 6 de febrero de 1920 desde Trujillo por el vicepresidente activo Álvaro en nombre del Centro Universitario de La Libertad, está dirigida a los secretarios de la Federación de Estudiantes del Perú en Lima. Álvaro acusa recibo de un oficio de la federación, informando que en la sesión de la junta directiva se acordó convocar asambleas para las facultades de Filosofía y Letras y de Jurisprudencia los días 6 y 7, respectivamente, cuyos resultados se informarán posteriormente. Asimismo, notifica la recepción de 20 ejemplares del reglamento para el próximo Congreso Nacional de Estudiantes, los cuales han sido distribuidos entre los alumnos. La carta también menciona que se ha otorgado una licencia de 15 días al presidente activo, Andrés Dileo Herrera, quedando Álvaro como responsable interino de la dirección del centro.
