Indeed, in the winter of 1913, during the Balkan War, the 37th Infantry Pirin Regiment occupies a section of defense position on the Aegean coast in the area of the village of Epivatos on the line Epivatos - Cadou Koiy - Ermeni Köy - Ormanli. On March 5th, 1913, in the defense of the section of the 37th Infantry Regiment, the Pirin Infantry Regiment fought against the Turks in the Arap Tepe area, west of village Epivatos.
