Bride and groom are standing on the rigth side in a row, wearing saree,flower garland(poomalai),long chain with big pendant,chains,necklace,bangles(valayal),gold jewel tied with a thread on the wedded couple's forehead (patam),customary symbol on the forehead(pottu),Maattal (chain shaped jewel used to hook in the hair from the ear ring stud or nose studd),top,veshti and towel(thundu) and watch. At the left side some men and children are standing facing towards the camera. women and childrens are standing on the right side of the negative. In centre there is a statue of a rat(vehicle of lord ganesha). The photograph is taken inside lord ganesha's temple. It is written "shri Mandhaveli vinayakar" on topm of the garbhagriha (the innermost sanctum of a Hindu temple where resides the murti of the primary deity of the temple). Coconut and kalasam is present in front of the God.
