A Private Buddha went to the river to bathe and purify his body. While he was bathing there, a group of thiefs came and stole his robe. When the Private Buddha meditated, he realized that there was a woman named Muladita who was crying because her husband had died. Muladita had the vision to obtain the Dhamma. So, the Private Buddha went to help her. When obtain offered a cloth as alms to the Private Buddha, she prayed that, May I become a Private Buddha like you”. The Private Buddha rejoiced with her alms and wishes. Colophon: Folio 26 on the recto side: Buddhist Era (BE) has already passed for 2471 years, on the seventh day of the waning moon of the eleventh lunar month, Sunday, a poek san day, [the writing was accomplished] at the time of kòng laeng (between 13.30–15.00 o’clock). Sao Thongsi sponsored the making of these two manuscript-fascicles entitled Pathama Munlamunli to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May the results of this merit support my husband named Chan Bunthan who already died to the other world. [Even if he has been] stuck in a misery place, may he be moved a good place. Even if he is already in a good place, may he be better than ever by ten one hundred and thousand times, and support him until entering into Nirvana, definitely. May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvana, constantly and certainly. Maha Rasakhu Pheng is the scribe.
