The content tells the qualities of the Dhamma. The qualities are: 1. Svākkhāto: well-proclaimed by the Buddha. 2. Sandittiko: self-realised 3. Akāliko: followed by its fruition without delay, timeless. 4. Ehipassiko: inviting to come and see, inviting inspection. 5. Opannāyiko: worthy of inducing in and by one’s own mind, worthy of realizing. 6. Paccattaṁ veditabbo viññūhi: realised by the wise each for himself. Colophon: Folio 1 on the recto side: [The text] was copied from an original version that Phra Ubali Gunupamachan used for his preaching on the Uposatha days throughout the three months. I am Thit (ex-monk) Phan and my wife and children from Xiang Thong village had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript to support the Teachings of the Buddha on Tuesday, the second day of the waxing moon of the second lunar month in a chò year (Year of the Dog), Buddhist Era 2489. May all our wishes and desires be fulfilled.
