The story of Venerable Kundadhana. From the day Kundadhana became a monk a certain female form accompanied him. The Venerable himself never saw her, but verybody else saw her. The Buddha related the Venerable’s wicked deed in a previous existence as a female diety and preached the Dhamma.Venerable Kondadhana in the past was born as a deity. She saw two monks in harmony and wanted to bully to cause mistrust and division between them. Therefore, she transformed into a woman following behind a monk causing the other monk to be paranoid that a monk with a female figure walking by him. The two monks therefore became severely divided and did not associate with each other. At the end of the discourse, Venerable Kundadhana attained arahatship. Colophon: Folio 25 on the recto side: Sangkat 76 (corresponding with CS 1076), a kap sanga year, on the full moon day of the eleventh lunar month, Monday. Chao Khanan Kulavongsa had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Vohan Thammabot (Oratory Dhammapada), to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbāna paccayo hontu (May this be a condition to reach Nirvanaa).
