When the Lao New Year's Day arrives, before bringing the Buddha statues down to water, the monks and novices brought 5 sets of flowers to worship the Buddha statue in the Sim (Ordination hall) and then brought some Buddha statues out for cleaning. After that, the monks and novices brought the incense to water the statues, followed by the lay Buddhists. After finishing the ceremony, the monks and novices invite those Buddha images to their the original place.
