The text tells about the story of Chanthakhat. When Prince Thukkhatakhattiyavongsa grew up, he asked his father King Chanthakhat and searched for his spouse in other cities. When he arrived in Mithila, the prince met Princess Kaeo Suvannaphimpha, the daughter of King Thammapasot, the ruler of the city. The prince fell in love with the princess. Later, they married and Prince Thukkhatakhattiyavongsa was successor to his father to the throne. King Chanthakhat was 300 years old, he died and was reborn in the heaven. Colophon: Folio 19 on the recto side: Chunlasangkat (CS) 1230, a poek si year, the eighth day of the waning moon of the second lunar month, the third day of the week (Tuesday), a hwai si day, the writing was accomplished in the morning (between 9.00–10.30 o’clock). Chaohua Phia Kaeo Kongphan and his wife sponsored the making of this manuscript [entitled] Lam tamnan Phabang, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbāna is the greatest bliss. Amen amen, I rejoice!.
