The Abhidhamma on the Vijjhā 3 and Abhiññā 6. Vijjhā 3: the threefold knowledge means the higher and special knowledge. Pubbenivāsānussati-ñāna: Reminiscence of past lives. Cutūpapāta-ñāna: Knowledge of the decease and rebirth of beings. Āsavakkhaya-ñāna: Knowledge of the destruction of mental intoxication. Abhiññā: Superknowledge that means wisdom and knowledge that is higher than normal knowledge and is a special knowledge that arises from the practice of meditaion and is a property of the noble monks. There are six as following: 1. Iddhividhī: Magical powers. 2. Dibbasota: Devine ear 3. Cetopariyañāna: Penetration of the minds of others. 4. Pubbenivāsānussati: Remembrance of former existences. 5. Dibbacakkhu: Devine eye. 6. Āsavakkhayañāna: Knowledge of the exhaustion of all mental intoxicants.
