The content tells the way of keeping the robes, the way of keeping the bowl, the way of having meals, the way of keeping the Kathina robes, the way of the dhutanga. The way of keeping the three robes that consist of sanghati (the outer robe), uttarasangha the cover robe, and antaravasakam the under robe. A monk is advised to determine that the sanghati is like the seven books of the Abhidhamma and the Dhamma named nissavāsa, may it be my refuge until entering nibbana. The uttarasangha is like the five scriptures of Vinaya and the Buddha named passavāsa, may it be my refuge until entering nibbana. The antaravasakam is like the eight scriptures of the Sutta and the Sangha named assavāsa, may it be my refuge until entering nibbana.
