Patimokkha manuscript, the text was written in Pali language is used to learn by heart by monk. The Patimokkha is the basic code of monastic disciplines, consisting of 227 rules for monks. The Patimokkha recitation by a monk in the assembly of the Sangha is regularly held in the monastic hall on every full moon day and every new moon day which is called uposatha day. Colophon: Folio 41 on the recto side: Chunlasangkat (CS) 1219, a moeng sai year, the tenth day of the waning moon of the sixth lunar month, the second day of the week (Monday), a hwai sanga day, the writing was accomplished at the time of kòng laeng (between 13.30–15.00 o’clock). Ai Ngao along with his parents and relatives jointly sponsored the making of this manuscript [entitled] Sutmon, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years.
