The rewards derived from marriage and a new family. The monk uses to read while giving a sermon at a marriage ceremony in order to give advice to the new couple to know oneself duty on the couple life. The text tells Dhananjayasethi’s teachings to his daughter, Visakha who married Punnavaddhana and moved to her husband’s family. His ten advise as following: Not to give fire the house outside; not to take into the house from outside; to give only to those who give in return; not to give to those who do not give in return; to give him that gives and to him that gives not; to sit happily; to eat happily; to sleep happily; to tend the fire; and to honour household deities.
