(໒) ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: ລານທີ່ ໙ ໜ້າ ໑: ເຈົ້າມະຫາສົມເດັດໄຊຍະສາ ໄດ້ສ້າງ ສອງສາລາ ໄວ້ກັບສາສະໜາ ພະໂຄຕະມະເຈົ້າ ຕາບຕໍ່ເທົ້າ ໕໐໐໐ ພະວັດສາ. ນິບພານະ ປັດຈະໂຍ ໂຫຕຸ ໂນ. ອັນ ໑ ຂໍໃຫ້ນາບຸນອັນນີ້ມາຄໍ້າມາຊູຜູ້ຂ້າໃນຊາດນີ້ແລະຊາດຫນ້າ ຂໍໃຫ້ຜູ້ຂ້າໄດ້ເຖິງສຸກ ໓ ປະການມີນິຣະພານເປັນທີ່ແລ້ວ ຢ່າຄາດແຄ້ວດັ່ງຄໍາມັກຄໍາປາດຖະໜາ ແດ່ກໍ່ຂ້າເທີ້ນ ຣິດຈະນາແລ້ວຍາມແຖໃກ້ທ່ຽງວັນ.
This manuscript contains two stories. 1. The rewards derived from making a pavilion for monks. The details see no. EAP1398_VMS_1_0263. 2. The rewards derived from making a way for monks to walk for their collecting alms. On one occasion, the Buddha was residing at the Jetavana monastery in Savatthi. There was a poor man who lived in Savatthi had the religious faith in the Teachings of the Buddha. He made the way smoothly in order to the noble monks past through during their alms rounds. After death, the poor man was reborn in Tavamtimsa heaven with a gold castle decorated with seven kinds of crystal, 12 yot height and 7 yot width. (1) Colophon: Folio 8 on the verso side: The writing was accomplished at the time of the kòng laeng (between 13.30–15.00 o’clock) on the sixth day of the week (Friday), the ninth day of the waxing moon of the sixth lunar month. (2) Colophon: Folio 9 on the recto side: Chao Maha Somdet Saiyasa sponsored [the making of the] Sòng sala for the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May this be a condition for us to reach Nibbāna. On the other hand, may the results of this merit support me in this life and next lives. May I obtain the three states of happiness with Nibbāna as the ultimate goal. May [my] wishes and desires not be ignored. The writing was accomplished at the time of the thae kai thiang van (between 9.00–10.30 o’clock).
