The tale of the worldly and Dhamma cases. There was a woman in Sri Lanka named Fongsamut who had a beautiful figure like no other. She was 4,000 years old. Her parents had been ill for 100 years. They were treated for long but not recovered due to they did not make merit. Fongsamut invited a 40 thousand-year-old monk to her house. She offered the monk alms and dedicated the results of the merit to her parents. Since then, her father and mother had been recovered from the illness. Fongsamut supported the monk with happiness. Colophon: Folio 13 on the recto side: Sangkatrasa 2514, a huang khai year, the sixth day of the waxing moon of the fifth lunar month, the second day of the week (Monday), the writing was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). Sathu Nyai Somdet (Supreme patriarch) Bunthan Thera, abbot of Vat Mai Suvannaphumaram is the sponsor of the blank palm leaves. Thit (ex-monk) Nya from Ban Chan Tai village is the scribe. They both sponsored the making of these 4 manuscripts such as: Khovinthasut 1 fascicle, Khonakumman 1 fascicle, and Lokkaditham 4 fascicles. In order to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May the results of this merit support the supreme patriarch and myself, may we both reach the three states of happiness with Nibbāna is the our ultimate goal. May this be a condition for us to reach Nibbāna in the future.
