Chan Phan from the village of Vat That had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript [entitled] Sutmon Doek to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May the results of this merit support me through this life and the future lives. May this merit bring me to escape the round of rebirths and cut out of the five Mara (devils), and to reach Nibbāna as wished. Nibbāna paccayo hotu me anāgate kāle (May this be a condition for me to reach Nibbāna in the future).
