When Hunter Senada who harmed Bhuridatta for the sake of the gem, heard that Brahmin, the snake catcher had become leprous because of the snake venom, he was so frightened. So, he went to wash away his sins at the Yimmana River. He announced that “I have hurt a friend Bhuridatta I wish to atone for my sins”. Coincidentally Suboga heard that, so he took the hunter to the naga world in order to ask opinions from his sibling on whether the hunter should be punished or killed. Bhuridatta told his brother to set the hunter free in order to not to seek revenge for each other. Bhuridatta had performed Sila parami (perfection of morality) by observing the eight precepts. After death, he was reborn as Indra, the king of the gods in the heaven.
