Ṛjuvivaraṇa

The bundle contains an Advaita-Vedānta work; the Ṛjuvivaraṇa by Viṣṇubhaṭṭa Upādhyāya [f° 23 to 108v: 1st varṇaka; f° 108v to 148v: 2nd varṇaka] (images 0005-0156). This is followed by a [Fragment of a Grammatical treatise] (images 0157-0160). Skandapurāṇa - Saurasaṃhitā [f° 55r: end of 10th adhyāya] (images 0161-0174). All texts are incomplete. In-text chapter completion statement of the first varṇaka states that Viṣṇubhaṭṭa is disciple of Indrapūrṇa Pūjyapāda, the son of Janārdana, and a champion of Kumārila's view; he is also called Sarvajñaviṣṇubhaṭṭa. There are ten stray leaves in the bundle, with diferent sizes and subjects: Vedānta, Purāṇa, Dharmaśātra, Viṣṇustuti, etc. The manuscript is partly damaged.

Condition of original material: Damaged, brittle. Last part good with minor damage.
