The text is incomplete (it starts in the middle of the first varṇaka, out of 9); f° 66v: end of the Laksaṇabhāṣya; f° 156r: end of 3rd varṇaka; f° 172: end of the 4th varṇaka; f° 180r: end of the second sūtra; f° 183r: end of the third sūtra; f° 214r: end of the first varṇaka of the fourth sūtra (samanvayasūtra); f° 237r: end of the 2nd varṇaka; end of samanvayasūtra is missing). The colophon mentions Viṣṇubhaṭṭa's teacher Svāmīndrapūrṇapūjyapāda, and the name of the author's father as Janārdana (according to Thangaswami, identical with Ānandagiri); other copies of the same work are found in the Thrissur collection: B-0006 (A), B-0044 (C), B-0130, B-0155 (A), B-0170 (C), B-0187. The manuscript is damaged, worm-eaten.
