Cham manuscripts collected by Mr. Thuong Xuan Huu

Cham manuscripts made of paper and palm leaves; from the collection of Mr. Luu Sanh Thanh, original in Ninh Thuan Province. Contents: watching dates, hours, months, years for building houses; origin of the foundation of rivers and oceans; rituals of promotion of dignitaries joining Brahminism; consecrating government officials; telling about Po Kuk, Almahekat and Po Aulaoh; legend of the taking form of the Earth; origin stories of humans and other creatures; promotive ceremony of dignitaries Pasaih, Tapah.

The original manuscripts belonged to Cham people in Ninh Thuan Province, they have been collected by Mr. Thuong Xuan Huu.
