Tlabung Police Station collection of historical police records [1899-1971]

This collection is kept by the officers of the Tlabung Police Station, in a steel shelf in their historical compound. The Tlabung Police Station was founded in 1899 in what was then called Demagiri (or Demagri), an early and strategic outpost of the British colonial government in then Lushai Hills. Two records were digitized: an early 1899 Building Register as well as an inspection record book that contains entries from 1943 to 1971.

Two bound record books.

Additional online resources from the Lushai Hillas are available at the British Museum.
