This collection is comprised of Portuguese manuscript documents from the Church of São Gonçalo de Campos dos Goytacazes in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro. It consists of baptismal records (1750-1763) and marriage records (1743-1754) of enslaved and free people. Custodial history: The volumes were produced by the Church of São Gonçalo de Campos dos Goytacazes. In accordance with local custom and Canonical Law, all documentation of a permanent nature produced by the Parish is transferred to the Archive of the Archdiocese of Niterói after 70 years.
