Libro de Hijuelas del Distrito de Uruapan, Núm. 3

The book contains information on the borders between Pamatacuaro and Sicuicho; and the division of lands in Jucutacato, Sevina, Nahuatzen, Cocucho, and Pomacuaran. It also contains information on land deeds in Sevina and the debt payments in Periban and Ziracuaretiro. The volume primarily consists of certificates, community proceedings, correspondence, deeds, legal records, reports, petitions, and receipts. The volume consists of 260 folios, which have been bound together and numbered. Documents relating to specific communities and/or processes are loosely grouped together and roughly organized according to date. The volume shows some deterioration, with some individual folios in poor condition.
