Libro de Hijuelas del Distrito de Puruándiro, Núm. 1

The book documents the boundary conflict between the town of Tendeparacua and the Macouzet family; the invasion of lands carried out by the employees of the Hacienda of Chucandiro in Tendeparecua; and the division of lands in Epejan. It also contains information on the regulation of extraction of clay. The volume includes agreements, census documents, correspondence, legal documents, petitions, and reports, as well as a sketch of the land disputed by the residents of Tendeparacua. The volume consists of 259 folios, which have been bound together and numbered. Documents relating to specific communities and/or processes are loosely grouped together and roughly organized according to date. The volume shows some deterioration, with some individual folios in poor condition.
