குறிப்பிடபடவில்லை (ஆண்டு பலன்)

Title in original script: குறிப்பிடபடவில்லை (ஆண்டு பலன்) The manuscript is formed by a text related to astrology (jōtiṭam). The text is incomplete. Its palm leaves are numbered from 41 to 73; the leaf 70 is missing. The leaves from 61 to 72 contain 11 verses which come from an original text (mūla nūl) on which the present work is based. The text describes the astrological features of the following Tamil years: Paritāpi, Kīlaka (the 42nd year of the Indian cycle of 60 years) and Āṉanta (the 48th year of the Jupiter cycle). It provides information on the position of planets with the benefits, outcomes or adverse effects resulting from their position, and on predictions based on horoscope. It indicates the ideal position of planets for buying a new plot for building a house. The study of jōtiṭam comprises two subdivisions: tirukkaṇitam which concerns prediction made by calculating the position of the planets at a certain time; and vākkiyam which concerns prediction established from the observation of the path used by the planets and the calculation of the distance between them. The text seems concerned vākkiyam, as it provides predictions. But as the beginning and the end of text are missing, it is difficult to ascertain this hypothesis. The palm leaves numbered 59 and 60 evoke the text Caṭṭaimuṉi Ñaṉa Cūttiram– 500, a philosophical text written by the cittar Caṭṭaimuṉi. Size of the manuscript: 32,0cm x 3.2cm. The palm leaves which compose the text are numbered from 41 to 73. The leaf 70 is missing; there is an introductive leaf. The manuscript is in excellent condition.
