வைசூரி மாலை

Title in original script: வைசூரி மாலை The manuscript is composed of a text which contains palm leaves numbered from 1 to 59; it is incomplete. Some leaves are broken and very darkened. The text, written in verses, is entitled Vaicūri Mālai. It concerns exanthematous fevers (vaicūri) that it describes with their appropriate medicinal formulations. The types it mentions are those caused by derangement (cārntu) of vāta, pitta and kapa, as well as maṇṭali, paṭar tāmarai, maṇalvāri, cappaṭṭai, aṇali, ceṅkāmāri, pokkaṉ, utira maṇṭali, aratta maṇṭali, retta maṇṭali, uṇakka cappaṭṭai, ūtu cappaṭṭai, karuñcappaṭṭai, arici kallutiri, karuṭa muccuruvi, veḷutta muccuruvi, aṇali maṇalvāri, ciṟu maṇṇaṉ, cori maṇṇaṉ, aṭukkalai kuru and vaicūri curam. Size of the manuscript 28,5cm x 3,5cm. The palm leaves are numbered from 1 to 59 in Tamil and Arabic. The palm leaves are darkened, some very affected by fungus infestation. A few leaves are broken.
