The manuscript is in good condition; the leaves are stained by fungus and the first one is partly broken. Size of the manuscript 24,0cm x 3,2cm. The palm leaves of the text 1 are numbered in Tamil and Arab from 3 to 26 and of the text 2 from 1 to 26; a leaf placed at the beginning has no number and the leaves n°22 and 23 are missing. The manuscript is in good condition; the leaves are stained by fungus and the first one is partly broken. The text, entitled Varmam - Villum Vicaiyum Cūttiram, is written in prose. It describes the vital spots (varmaṅkaḷ) in body which are targeted during the practice of martial art (a part of varmakkalai), notably veṟṟilai kālam, cuṇṇāmpu kālam, mañca kālam, ruttira kālam and koṇṭa kālam and kompu kutti. It explains techniques to relax (aṭaṅkal) vital spots which have been injured during the battle.
