Statue: Kunda (Wylie sku ’dra) སྐུ་འདྲ Approx 1850

Statue of Tangtong Gyalpo. Size 250mm high. Face silver with mouth and eyes painted red. Back of the head is brass. Covered with golden silk cloth, semi precious stones, turquoise and coral, five rupee banknotes and a rosette with a photo of a Dudjom Rinpoche a major nyingma rinpoche. One statue.

The material is owned by Meme Chettan Dorje and has been handed down from father to son through several generations of head Buchen. All the materials in the archive are kept within the prayer room of the house. This was not seen: materials were brought out into the living room to be surveyed and documented.
