Eye opening ceremony

Cham manuscript bound into volume with threads through the middle. The pages are made of palm leaves. The two ends of palm leaves were bored holes. The text is inscribed on the leaves surface and blackened by ink extracted from a wild flower in the forest (bingu kalao). The text is written in Akhar Thrah script. The manuscript is in good condition. This manuscript covers religious themes. Contents: Eye opening ceremony. Size: 16 x 10 cm.

The manuscript used to belong to Maduen Gru Dong Muon (born in 1956). After his death 36 years ago, it was handed down to his daughter named Dong Thi Di. At present, all the manuscripts have been given to Pasaih Dong Van Troi, who is Mrs. Dong Thi Di''s son.
