Phet Ham Hai (ເຜດຮຳໄຮ) (1950)

This text is about the sin of one demon abiding in great suffering, angest and pain. She was forced to be naked all the time. This was so because when this demon was alive, she had been a wife of Sang (artisan) Huk, who offered her to the monks. She had cursed her husband and refused to be given as an offering, so when they died, her husband became a tree a spirt, while she became a demon, maintaining a tortured existence in her husband's proximity. The colophon mentions Chan (a former monk) Pheng and Sao (Miss) Kham from Lamaet village as sponsors. Date of original material: BE 2493; 1950. 47 folios.
