Buenos Aires Baños Públicos [1930s-1960s]

Description: Due to the bad sanitary and living conditions of the lower-class in the city of Buenos Aires, they did not count with the basic services of running water that allowed for personal cleanliness. In 1872 until approximately 1923, and following the example of London, urinals were built under the avenues, in the corners and in the center of the avenues. Extent and format of original material: Envelope.
