Description: Register of Deaths; Vol 5; Freetown [26 Aug 1861-7 Aug 1862]. Extent of original material: 1 volume of 110 folios. Physical characteristics of original: The paper is brittle with most of the edges breaking off. Many pages are broken. The paper is acidic and there is some mould and mildew damage. There is extensive iron gall from the ink which has eaten through the pages and obscures some of the verso pages.
