Description: In 1938, Roberto M. Ortiz and Ramón S. Castillo were elected as president and vice-president of Argentina, respectively. They were representatives of the Conservative Party (or Partido Demócrata Nacional). This was a fraudulent election and exhibited the high level of corruption that reigned from 1930 to 1943—the period known as the Infamous Decade (or Década Infame). This envelope contains the typewritten document with the results of the election of the national delegates to the National Committee, plus newspapers’ and magazines’ clippings and articles.
