Parravicini Florencio Escenas [1920s-1950s]

Description: Florencio Parravicini (1876-1941) was an Argentine actor born in Buenos Aires son of a wealthy family. He travelled to Europe and wasted all his inheritance in feasts and casinos. He started to earn his living singing in Paris, then, he became a smuggler in the Patagonia region, and, finally, he succeeded as an actor in the cafes of Buenos Aires. It was difficult to imagine that he would become the one of the most important performers in the Argentine stage and his status is legendary. He acted in more than three hundred plays. Because he was suffering of cancer, he committed suicide in 1941.This is a handmade envelope with photos and newspapers' articles and clippings of the actor's life.
