ພານຂຶ້ນສີນ (ຜູກດຽວ)

The content tells about when the hunter reached the presence of the Buddha, he asked his questions the Buddha. Then the Buddha answered all his questions thorough and clear. After listening to the sermon, the hunter became faithful in the Teachings of the Buddha. He regularly gave alms, observed the precepts and meditated. Thereafter, the hunter visited the people who left their questions with him to the Buddha and delivered the answers from the Buddha until arriving in Suthinnarat. King Suthinnarat was satisfied with his report and gave him the position of viceroy and organized a wedding ceremony for him with his daughter. Colophon: Folio 11 on the recto side: Chulasangkatrasa (CS) 1294, a tao san year, on the sixth day of the waxing moon of the eleventh lunar month, the fourth day of the week (Wednesday), the writing was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). The initiator, Rattapannya sponsored the making of this manuscript entitled Phān Khün Sīn (a hunter observes the precepts) to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May the results of this merit be a condition for Nirvana and cut the five obstructions off and reach Nirvana as my wishes. Arahantī homi nibbāna paccayo honto no niccaṃ dhuvaṃ (May I obtain Arahantship. May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvana, constantly and certainly).
