Prayers with the whole text written in Pali are used by monks, novices and Buddhists in the chanting ceremony and other Buddhist ceremonies. There are many chapters including Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta, Mahasamaya Sutta, Kusala-dhamma Sutta, Parābhava Sutta and etc. Colophon: Folio 33 on the recto side: Chunlasangkat 1247, a hap hao year, on the first day of the waxing moon of the fourth lunar month, the sixth day of the week (Friday), the writing was accomplished at the time of laeng (between 13.30–15.00 o’clock). Phò Ueng and his wife together with all their children, grandchildren, reltaives and siblings jointly sponsored the making of this manuscript entitled Sapphasut (Various Prayers) to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May all our desires and wishes come true. Nirvana is the greatest bliss.
