Tika Dhammachak (Expansion scripture of the Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta). The content tells the story of a previous life of the Buddha. When the Bodhisatta was born as Sumedha Brahmin in Amaravadi ciy, who was wealthy. On one occasion, Sumedha thought about rebirths and breaking down of the body are suffering. Then Sumedha left his treatures and ordained as a hermit. One day Sumedha Hermit saw Dipankara Buddha along with his disciples coming; he was faithful in him and decided to offer his body by paving over a mud pond for the Buddha walked over. He set his wish to attain enlightenment and become a Buddha in the future. Dipamkara Buddha stood in front of the hermit and told that you all look at this hermit he will become a Buddha in this world in the period of asongkhai (countless) from now whose name is Gotama. Colophon: Folio 26 on the recto side: Sangkatrasa (CS) 1236, a kap set year, on the fifth day of the waxing moon of th eighth lunar month, the sixth day of the week (Friday), a moeng hao day, the writing of this manuscript was accomplished at the time of thiang van (between 10.30–12.00 o’clock). Hua Chao Sa Titsapannya had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Tikathammachak (Tika Dhammacakka), to support the Teachings of the Buddha. May my wishes be fulfilled. Nibbānaṃ paramaṃ sukhaṃ buddho homi Nibbāna paccayo hontu no niccaṃ dhuvaṃ dhuvaṃ (Nirvanaa is the greatest bliss. MayI become a Buddha. May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvanaa, constantly and certainly).
