The content tells, once upon a time, King Phommathat was reigning in the city of Varanasi, the Bodhisatta was born in the womb of his queen. After the birth, all the members of the royal family offered the name to the prince as Silava Rajakumara. The Bodhisatta studied art and finished when he was 16 years old. Later, the royal father appointed him as the viceroy. When the father passed away, the Bodhisatta was his successor to the throne. The new king gave his order to his ministers and followers to build 6 almshouses at the gates of the city. The king donated royalties every day and supported the people with the 4 kinds of objects of favour and did the preservation of the precepts regularly. Colophon: Folio 13 on the recto side: Sangkatrasa (CS) 1113, a huang mot year, on the third day of the waning moon of the first lunar month, the second day of the week (Monday), the writing of this manuscript was accomplished at the time of thiang van (between 10.30–12.00 o’clock). Saen Xiangtai and his wife had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Ekanibat (Ekanipāta), to support the Teachings of the Buddha. Nibbāna paccayo hotu (May this be a condition to reach Nirvanaa).
