Patimokkha manuscript, the text was written in Pali language is used to learn by heart by monk. The Patimokkha is the basic code of monastic disciplines, consisting of 227 rules for monks. The Patimokkha recitation by a monk in the assembly of the Sangha is regularly held in the monastic hall on every full moon day and every new moon day which is called uposatha day. Colophon: Folio 46 on the recto side: Chunlasangkat 1225, a ka khai year, the first day of the waning moon of the eleventh lunar month, a kot chai day, the fifth day of the week (Thursday), the writing was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o'clock). Sao Khamphiew had the most ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript [entitled] Sappha sut, to support the Teachings of the Buddha. May I attain the states of sakadāgāmī (once-returner) and anāgāmī (none-returner) which are the highest wish. May this be a condition to reach Nibbāna certainly.
