Kumman or Kumāra the eighth episode of a total of 13 episodes of the Vessantara Jataka with 101 verses. The content tells Jujaka arrived at Mount Vamka and stayed overnight not far from the hermitage of Ascetic Vessantara. At dawn on the next morning, Jujaka waited until Princess Maddī went away for finding for fruits. He then came out and begged to have Prince Jali and Princess Kanha from Vessantara. The two children realized that the Brahmin begging them, they were so scared and concealed themselves under the lotus leaves in the pond. Ascetic Vessantara called them and made them understood about his wishes. Then the ascetic gave them to Jujaka. Jujaka was binding their hands together and dragged them out of there.
