ມະຫາປັດຖານ ເປັນຄໍາພີທີ່ ໗ ແຫ່ງພະອະພິທໍາ ອະທິບາຍປັດໄຈ ໒໔ ສະແດງຄວາມສໍາພັນເນື່ອງອາໄສກັນແຫ່ງທໍາທັງຫຼາຍໂດຍພິດສະດານ ເປັນຄໍາພີທີ່ພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າໄດ້ຊົງພະຍາກອນໄວ້ວ່າ ຈະສູນສິ້ນເປັນຄໍາພີທໍາອິດ ເພາະເປັນຄໍາພີທີ່ມີເນື້ອຫາລະອຽດອ່ອນເລິກເຊິງ ສຸຂຸມຄໍາພີລະພາບດ້ວຍປັດໄຈແຫ່ງປະລະມັດຖະທໍາ ເມື່ອພະຜູ້ມີພະພາກເຈົ້າຊົງພິຈາລະນາ ພະອະພິທັມ ໗ ຄໍາພີ ໂດຍເລີ່ມແຕ່ ຄໍາພີທີ່ ໑ ຈົນເຖິງຄໍາພີທີ່ ໖ ຕາມລໍາດັບກໍ່ບໍ່ມີປາກົດການພິເສດແຕ່ຢ່າງໃດເກີດຂຶ້ນ ຕໍ່ເມື່ອຊົງພິຈາລະນາ ຄໍາພີທີ່ ໗ ນີ້ ຈຶ່ງເກີດລັດສະໝີ ໖ ປະການແຜ່ຊ່ານອອກຈາກພະວໍລະກາຍ. ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: ລານທີ ໔໗ ໜ້າ ໑: ສັງກາດໄດ້ ຮ້ອຍປາຍ (ຄວາມເປັນໄປໄດ້ແມ່ນ ຈ.ສ. ໑໒໐໑) ຕົວ ໑ ປີກັດໃຄ້ ເດືອນ ໑໒ ແຮມ ໑໔ ຄໍ່າ ວັນ ໕ ເຈົ້າອົງໂພ ມີສັດທາສ້າງ ອະພິທໍາມະ ທັງ ໗ ໄວ້ກັບສາສະໜາ ຕາບຕໍ່ເທົ້າ ໕໐໐໐ ວັດສາ ນິບພານະ ປັດຈະໂຍ ໂຫຕຸ.

Mahāpaṭṭhāna is the seventh book of the Abhidhamma explains the 24 factors and presents the causal relations of all the Dhammas. It is a scripture that the Buddha has prophesied that will be lost as the first book. Because it is a scripture with the delicate contents, profoundness, prudence and with the factors of ultimate reality. When the Buddha considered the 7 Abhidhamma scriptures, starting from the 1st to 6th scriptures respectively, nothing special happened. However, when the Buddha considered this seventh book, six rays emerged from his body. Colophon: Folio 47 on the recto side: In Sangkat one hundred and 1, a kat khai year (possibility is CS 1141), on the fourteenth day of the waning moon of the twelfth lunar month, the fifth day of the week (Thursday). Chao (Prince) Ongpho sponsored the making of this manuscript [entitled] Aphithamma thang 7 (the seven books of Abhidhamma), fascicle 7, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbāna paccayo hotu (May this be a condition to reach Nibbāna).
