The text mentions about Dukkha vedana (painful feelings) which means suffering such as suffering due to formations including suffering due to birth, age, sickness and death. The sufferings happen according to patticca samuppada12 (the twelffold conditioned arisings). Colophon: Folio 26 on the recto side: Chunlasangkat 722 (corresponding with CS 1172) 1232, a kot sanga year, on the first day of the waning moon of the eighth lunar month, the fifth day of the week (Thursday), a poek san day, the writing was accomplished at time of tut sai (between 12.00–13.30 o’clock). Hua Chao Phan from Nam Bak village had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript [entitled] Lam 8 mün 4 phankhan to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May all our wishes and desires come true, certainly.
