This material is a Tamil palm-leaf manuscript titled “Yūnāni- patārtta kuṇa viḷakka kāra caṅkirakam” from the Eastern region, Sri lanka. The first four pages of the manuscript were written by doctor Kātti in the early 19th century. The remaining pages were written in 1877. It is related to medicine. It has Sanskrit letters in it. The first page of the manuscript has Vināyakar kāppu, vākkuṇṭām- tēvāram followed by Yūnāni- patārtta kuṇa viḷakka kāra caṅkiraka history (history of Yunani). The first person created by God was Adam. He had all the diseases which are mentioned in the manuscript. The lord Cuppō preaches the remedies called “Urōkkiyā varaṇaṅkaḷē'” that is passed from generation to generation. In this way, numerous doctors add their knowledge and practices and wrote their books and manuscripts. This manuscript is a collection of information from scholars like Hakkim and doctors. The god worshiping method tells with Europe history and according to this, corrections were made in this manuscript. It contains the details of herbs, medicines, and their measurements.
