கூர்ம புராணம்

This manuscript is Koormaavatar of Lord Vishnu (Thirumal) to express Lord Siva’s fame with 2480 stanzas and it belongs to 16th century. It has two divisions the first chapter Poorva khanda with 48 chapters and Uttharakanda with 47 chapters. திருமால் கூர்ம அவதாரம் எடுத்து சிவனுடைய பெருமையை மக்களுக்கு உரைத்த செய்தியைக் கூறுவது. கி.பி.16ஆம் நூற்றாண்டைச் சார்ந்தது. இது பூர்வ காண்டம், உத்தர காண்டம் என்று பகுதிகளாக உள்ளது. பூர்வ காண்டத்தில் 48 அத்தியாயங்களும், உத்தர காண்டத்தில் 47 அத்தியாயங்களும் உள்ளன. இச்சுவடியில் மேருவின் சிறப்புரைத்த அத்தியாயம் வரை 2480 பாடல்கள் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன.
