ஈஸ்வர கீதை

This work Koorma puranam is one among the eighteen puranam. It is the upadesa of Lord Siva to Vishnu in Koorma Avatara. This is also called Eswara gita in Sanskrit. This work is translation of Eswara gita in Tamil language by the Tattuvaraya, who lived in 15th century. This work has 11 chapters with 338 stanzas. Leaf nos, 37 and 39 are in damaged condition and leaf nos 11 and 12 are missing. புராணங்கள் பதினெட்டில் ஒன்று கூர்ம புராணம். இக்கூர்ம புராணத்தில் ஈஸ்வரனாகிய சிவபெருமான் கூர்மம்கிய நாராயணனுக்கு உபதேசித்த வடமொழி நூல் ஈஸ்வர கீதை. இந்த வடமொழி ஈஸ்வர கீதையைக் கி.பி.15ஆம் நூற்றாண்டில் வாழ்ந்த தத்துவராயர் தமிழில் எழுதியதே இந்நூல். இந்நூல் 11 அத்தியாயங்கள் 338 பாடல்களால் ஆனது. ஏட்டெண் 11, 12 ஆகிய ஏடுகள் இல்லை. ஏட்டெண் 37, 39ஆம் ஏடுகள் உடைந்துள்ளன.
