Prince Madrais Alibasa Manuscript No. 170B

The manuscript No.170B is written in a notebook with blue cover. The size is 20,8 x 16.5 cm. The condition of paper is brittle, torn and yellowing. The ink penetrates to the reverse side, but the writing is still readable. In this manuscript, Prince Madrais explains historical facts about his life when he was young. He experienced a long suffering, working for a person and only given a spoonful of rice. He was asked to buy kerosene in the hard rain and flood. He also worked as farm workers and weeding grass in rice field. He must have been satisfied with eating porridge mixed with taro’s leaves and tubers or peanut leaves, sweet potato leaves or corn. Besides, he was a porter. Even for sleeping, he could not light up oil lamp.
