Prince Madrais Alibasa Manuscript No. 73

The manuscript No.73 is written in a set of loose folios. The size is 34 x 21.5 cm. The condition of paper is brittle, perforated, torn, taped and yellowing. The ink penetrates to the reverse side, but the writing is still readable. In this manuscript, Prince Madrais describes that he is a descendant of Prince Gebang. He is a son of Prince Alibasa Gebang. Prince Alibasa Gebang is a son of Prince Wisnu. Prince Wisnu is a son of Prince Mandar. Prince Mandar is a son of Prince Haerudin, Sultan of Kanoman. His mother is Raden Ayu Kastewi, the descendant of Syeh Abdul Kadir Jaelani who is from Susukan. In the other side, he writes the faith of Java Sunda religion; faith in custom and culture based on God’s law, faith to love mother land, faith to water which make a gratitude of life, faith to fire to make perfection of spirit, faith to wind which use the scripts spirits. All the faiths are conected with the mind, body and soul to make harmony in the world. In the conditon of people who make other people sufer and deny their true idenity, Prince Madrais sue the division of land based on God’s law that every nation has rights on their land.
