Ham Mukasa during the last days of his life. Information added by George Kasedde: During these critical times, he was not speaking and when the family doctor was called, he came with a bottle of brandy and he gave him two spoons of it. He was able to talk again and that was also the first time he ever tested alcohol in his life. The doctor left the bottle behind with prescriptions to give him two spoons at a particular time. But instead George Kasedde and other children decided to drink the brandy themselves and when the doctor came back, he realised the bottle was empty. He thought it was Mrs. Mukasa that had given the entire brandy to the patient. So from that time the doctor could go with the botte of brandy and come back with it when he needs to give it to Ham.
